Bulk VLAN tier or service
Some use cases require dozens or even hundreds of VLANs. Currently, projects are limited to 5 VLANs , with no formal path for buying or unlocking more (support can increase the limit modestly). Provide a service tier or a way for users to safely deploy and manage up to ~100 and then up to max (~4k) VLANs.
Cross-Project Network Peering
Provide a VLAN to connect from one project to another within Metal over a VLAN dedicated to the purpose, to share a resource (such as Pure storage) with multiple projects.
IBM on Metal
Now that we are close to have our Metal services available in our MX2 IBX located in Queretaro, Mexico, many customers had approached us requesting IBM services. We know our Metal services are agnostic to a particular brand, yet AIX & AS400 requires the Power platform (i-series) to operate. Are IBM solutions considered to be available with our Metal services in the future?
Allow Metal to Metal L2 VCs via Metal Billed Ports
For Network Connectivity Use Cases, Customers ask for direct Server VLAN to Server VLAN L2 Remote Connections via Fabric on Metal billed Ports. Dedicated Ports are commercially prohibitive. Can we enable Metal to Metal L2 VCs on Fabric?
Metal Fabric VC participation in EVP-LAN
Currently only dedicated fabric ports can participate EVP-LAN. Being service token based, Metal VCs are not able to participate EVP-LAN. It'd provide great benefits for Metal customers to enable metal fabric VCs to join EVP-LAN
